    Use floppy and CD images?

I downloaded the new Win7 virtual machine beta, as I want to install a virtual copy of one of my first PC's - An ancient monster that ran MS-DOSS 6.22 (with Supplemental Disks) and WfWG 3.11. I figure that my 2.8Ghz triple core system should have plenty of oomph to run all my old games in a VM, like commander keen, old ~1995 era Windows games, QBasic, etc.

However - Unlike Virtual PC 2007 SP1, the Win7 version doesn't have any options to use floppy or CD images, or to use the physical floppy or CD drives on the host machine. I need the VM to support mounting floppy disk images for now, and later, CD images.

Also, VPC 2007 could use a shared folder between the host and guest operating systems - Can the version in Win7 do that?

    Thanks..

To mount a CD image you have to right click the Virtual item and goto properties then CD drive you can then set it to a CD image.

If you looking to just run DOS games you might want to look into this DOSBOX DOSBox, an x86 emulator with DOS
I use it myself to run old dos stuff much easier than setting up a Virtual OS.
