    network in xp mode

Dear all, after buying a new laptop for my work I installed windows 7 professional and added windows xp mode to it. this so my software could run. I am a dentist and my x-ray machine works through the network plug and some really annoying errors keep popping up. when I look at the network center on windows 7 I see i have a perfect connection with my machine but in windows xp i just get one network. How can I add this network to windows xp mode?

Or is there a way to make windows xp mode connect directly to the lan network?

The way to do that is to set your network adapter to bridged mode. The way to do this is by going launching Windows Virtual PC from the Start Menu then right-clicking on your XP Mode Virtual Machine and clicking on Settings. After that, click "Networking" and on the right-hand side you should see the 1st network adapter listed there. Click on it and set it to the adapter on our computer, depending on whether you're using your wireless or wired connection to get the Internet on your laptop. Once you've set it, click "OK" and launch XP Mode and you should be connected directly to the same network as your Windows 7 OS.
