Configure all users to use same VHD file

I am trying to share a VHD file I created under an admin account. At my workplace we use programs not compatible with Windows 7 and I need to run them in Windows XP. So, I am using XP mode w/Windows Virutal PC to accomplish this. However, the problem remains that the VHD file I created under the admin account isn't available under other user accounts. I do not want to set up these programs every time a new user logins with their network account.

Does anyone know a way to share the admin VHD file which contains all the programs that aren't compatible with Windows 7?

I hope there is a simple answer to this. Seems like there should be?

    Solution

For anyone who wants to know the solution:

When setting up the VHD it will prompt you where to install the files. Before you start configuring VHD check (Show hidden files, folders, and drives) so you can view the 'Default' user folder when setting up VHD.

Specify the installation to be C:\Users\Default (if you don't see default its because you have it hidden -- see above)

Be sure to give appropriate permission to the folder that where VHD file is installed. Now, under the XP Mode Application folder I can add apps I want everyone to be able to use.

    That's it.
