    Hi All,

I am thinking of installing VirtualBox so that I can have a look at linux. Does anyone have any thoughts, experience, does, don'ts etc.

The best advice I can give is to just go for it

If it doesn't work you can always delete the disk and try another avenue.

Virtualbox is a great application. Seems very user friendly and has worked quite well for me in the past.

Yeah, virtualization is the best thing to happen in the past 5 years. I set up so many test boxes and lab scenarios and it just makes studying and learning new things so much easier than in the past.

I administered an IBM VM installation for 15 years so I know how useful and flexible they are.
