    XP Mode Question


    I have installed the XP Mode on my computer with no real problems...

    I have some questions a) A notification window opened and said I had no anti-virus software installed, so I installed AVG 2011... no problem.

    Now, I got updates for windows reminders and I install those.

    I do not generally go online in virtualization mode, was it necessary to install all that stuff and now have to download updates.

    What do others users do?

    I like the mode very much, I use an older program and it works like a charm.

    XPmode window is considered as an individual PC in itself. THerefore you get all these warnings and update like any PC. If you don't connect to internet and use XPmode PC only for one software/HW with compatibility issue, then you simply can disable WU and any other update.
