    Missing device driver - Virtualbox


    I am trying to install Windows 7 in Virtualbox - Linux Mint 12 is host - but keep getting this error (see attached). What do i do?

    Can you post a screenshot of the Virtual machine's hardware configuration ?

    Well, I use VMware for virtualization .. There must be something similat in VB too .

    I wanted to see if that drive is chosen as IDE or SATA. For SATA, there may be some drivers needed, but usually it works as IDE nicely.

    What it's telling you is your ISO is bad - you might want to download again (if purchased from a store as a digital download) or recreate it. If downloading, make sure the checksums match to the original (working) source.
