    Some Questions about XP Mode

First off I installed Win 7 RC in Virtual PC 2007 (didnt have an extra hdd to test it on).

I tried to install the XP Mode RC and Virtual PC RC on it and it didnt work, I dont know why, perhaps because it would be a VM inside a VM or maybe I need to change the VM's bios?

But now for some questions about XP Mode, since I cant get it to run.
    1) Can you have more than 1 XP VM Environment. Lets say I wanted a XP game environment and a XP test software environment, will it let you have more than just 1 XP environment?
    2) If you can run more than 1 XP environment are the ones beyond the first one free (legally of course)? I'm glad MS has allowed us to have at least 1 XP VM legal and free, but I'd like more than just 1.

I didn't try that, but I think that you can't run more than one XP VM Environment...

you cannot install VPC in a VM (i believe VPC 2007 SP1) since it does support VT or AMD-V...

    it depends...
if you have two XP licenses (counting the XP mode license)
    then yes you can...
if not then you are breaking the EULA...

if you are using PRO and above then yes one XP vm is part of the package ( you would have to download it online though...)
otherwise unless you have other XP licenses then it is illegal...
