Processor support virtualization but no such option in BIOS

    hi
my pc has AMD athlon 64 x2 5000+ processor on msi k9n neo v2 mainboard which support Virtualization (AMD-V) but there is no virtualization option in BIOS. I even updated my BIOS to the latest version (v2.9) but nothing changed. I'm trying to use VMware Workstation which needs AMD-V option to be enabled. How can I enable this feature?
    Thanks

It should be enabled by default even if your BIOS does not give an option for enabling virtualization. My laptop has the Intel Pentium series without any option in the BIOS other than setting boot order, but I can run Vmware player with 64-bit guest OS using the "automatic" preferred mode. Try using the automatic mode and see if you can run your guest OS.
