    Enabling hardware virtualization

I just ran SecurAble and found out that "Hardware Virtualization" is locked off.

Anyone know how I can turn it back on? I heard If It's on it would give me better performance.

    Thank you for your help,
    John

Latest BIOS for that machine is A15 from 7 Jan 2009 - might want to see if it s newer than what you have on your machine....

I have RTFM - there is no reference to virtualization. Not all VM software requires this support.

Correct - but with VBox, you'll need it in order to run 64bit OSs on a 32bit host....

and in general, it is a lot better performance on VMs if some sort of hardware virtualization is there.

And, IIRC, doesn't XP Mode *require* hardware virtualization?
