How to share folders in Sun Virtual Box?

Hi, i recently installed Windows xp as a guest OS using Sun Virtual Box. Everything is running except that i m unable to share any folders between Host and Guest.

I have given full access to a Windows 7 folder but i cannot access it in windows xp.

Look like i fixed it by shutting down the virtual machine and then added a folder path in the shared folder settings option, then browsing under My Network Places.

Just a note to any casual observers - Sun's Guest Additions must be installed.

Oops i forgot to mention that. Yes its necessary to install Sun Guest Addition. To do so, just press Host+D.

Glad to see that you got it resolved. That shared folders thing can be a bit tricky. I usually have to play with it for a few minutes to remember how it works.

I just use shared folders and admin shares from my other boxes and transfer via the network.
