Removing Virtual Box and VMware Player

I have been experimenting with both these on my wifes Windows 7 laptop. I now need to remove these which have Windows XP as guest OS. Where will I find the guest hard drive image to remove or will this be done when I uninstall the packages? Her laptop has suddenly decided it does not want to use the networked printer so I need to remove everything.

    Many thanks.

Hello Steve, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Before uninstalling Virtual Box and VMware Player, you could do this below to delete the virtual machine first. Afterwards, you can uninstall the programs as usual.

    In VMware Player:
Right click on the virtual machine, and click on Delete VM from disk.

    In Virtual Box:
Select virtual machinefrom the taskbar a the top of the window and then scroll down to Remove.

    Hope this helps, :)
