Changes make for apps in XP Mode

I installed an apps in Windows XP Mode.

I am able to see the program in my main Windows 7 menu item. The app started well and works fine.

The issue I have is this application looks into its own application directory for config and addin.

When I update the apps with the latest config (text file) and add in. I copy them into the program directory like what I will do in Windows XP machine.

I cannot see the changes I made when I start the program from Windows 7 menu, is there another location that I need to update?

To add further, if I start Windows XP Mode in Windows Virtual PC and runs the apps from the start menu (Windows XP). All my changes that I made are shown in the apps so I am sure I did not make any mistake in copying my file.

I am not sure if I got your question correctly.

But you will have to copy to the virtual machine, not to the host app directory.
