7 Starter Virtual Machine

Hey,

Does anyone know where I can get a Windows 7 Starter ISO? To, you know, install in VirtualBox? It has to be x86 or 32-bit.

I'll just quote part of this tutorial, Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

1. Download the same latest official Win7 installer ISO with SP1 and Media Refresh as your 32-bit or 64-bit licensed Windows version.

• If the licensed OS printed on the COA sticker on bottom is Home Basic or Starter then download Home Premium, run the eicfg removal tool to unlock all versions, later during install choose the licensed version from menu.

Hey, thanks for the link, but there is no Windows 7 Starter download link.

I specifically want Starter because I would like to try out the Aero Patch. Home Basic is a viable option, too, but I would prefer Starter.

Remember, nothing illegal.

Yeah, there is no Starter download link because you have to download Home Premium x86.ISO and use the eicfg removal tool to unlock all versions on that ISO.

Once you do that, you choose Starter from the menu. Those are official Microsoft downloads, they are legal.
