Android x86 in VMware Player - no network

    Hey guys here also the same struggling from android 4.0 in vm without network. And i can,t able to locate that android.vmx file. can anyone help?

    Open the Vmware folder - it should be right there. If you have not directed that folder to a specific location, it might be in the root of C. Then open the VMX with Notepad and change and save

    ethernet0.virtualDev = “e1000" to be ethernet0.virtualDev = “vlance"

    Just out of personal interest, Android 4.3 vm out-of-the-box, first boot after installation, running on Win 8.1 Pro Hyper-V:

    not working the.vmx file is not there. I'm using virtual box to run android.

    That's why you can't find the .vmx file, that's for VMWare.

    I used this guide for VirtualBox and it worked without any altering,

    But i use internet from my dongle not from wifi

    That should work. vBox should pass it.

    but that's also not working i can't connect to internet from my dongle also in virtual box.
