No internet on Guest XP under host 7 virtual box

I have win 7 64 bit home premium. On this I have virtual box with XP home SP2 installeed. Today i noticed the guest OS has no inter net access. Ipconfig /all gives windows ip configuration?

Under bridged adapter in network settings there is no list of names nor is it possible to enter any. It was sharing the connection with the host.

See pictures to illiustrate. On the last screenshot enable network adapters is greyed out. Aslo on final on ethe mac address is not anything on my network. I installed guest addition as i want to share my picture folder from the hsot to the guest. That does not seemed to have worked either

I don't believe that XP has default drivers for the Intel/pro 1000 Nic.
Make sure the guest is shut down (not saved state) and change it to AMD PCNet FAST III (Am79C973, the default)
Boot the guest and see if it picks up the change and loads the drivers.
Just noticed the question was about mac. I am windows but it worked
