How Do I Connect To The Internet In Virtual Box Windows XP?

Hey, I'm in need of some help. I've been trying for hours and I can't get Virtual Box to connect Windows XP to the internet. Please help.

I have the Bridged connection and everything else people are telling me to do but it won't work. Someone help?

    Try using the NAT option.

This is SevenForums and you have a W8 PC trying to get XP to work?

For my W7 machine it was/is not necessary to Bridge anything--assuming you have VirtualBox Host-Only Network driver properly installed (Oracle VB v4.3.24 iirc) then it should just work, and as d2123cross says you need only to select NAT and then under Advanced you should see that Adapter Type is Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop with Cable Connected checked.

BTW do you also have the companion Extension Pack installed? I don't know that it's needed in this case, but it also doesn't hurt afaict.
