    Win 7 XP Mode - Can't Start

    Greetings,

I'm having a problem starting XP Mode. It's been installed for a couple of years, but I haven't used it recently. I've done a couple of repair installs with in the past nine months and I suspect one of those repair installs has deleted or corrupted my access to XP Mode.

I know that it's installed, because when I attempt to reinstall the package, I get the indication that it's already installed.

Does anyone know of a solution to get XP Mode up and running again with the issues I've identified?

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

    Regards

    Update:

Although XP Mode was already installed, apparently it had to be reinitialized. I think this was due to the repair installs.

I reinitialized XP Mode and it appears to have installed a new XP Mode file. When the XP Mode window is up, it's entitled Windows XP Mode 1.

Is there a way to see if Windows XP Mode "0" is still capable of be accessed? Is there a way to determine if there are actually two XP Mode files on my system? The new Windows XP Mode "1" doesn't have any applications installed. I would like to see if I can recover the original Windows XP Mode to get access to my applications.
