Virtual PC cannot access Host C drive

I've installed Windows Virtual PC on Win 7 Home Premium SP1 64bit.

I copied an existing VHD file that I had onto the Win7 machine and created a Virtual machine using it.
The Virtual Machine starts fine and is running XP Pro SP2.

However the Virtual Machine cannot see the C drive of the host.

I have enabled Integration Features and under "Share devices and resources" the C drive is checked.

Under Networking I have tried selecting "Shared Networking" and also tried selecting my NIC, but makes no difference.

Both host and virtual have workgroup = "WORKGROUP".

Any help would be much appreciated.
