Hi v0id, sorry no one has answered you. It has been a while since I tested XPM so not really sure if you can. I switched back to VM Ware about two weeks ago. Don't really remember trying or attempting to boot into safe mode. Is your question is in response to having tried and failed, if so may be you have come up with the answer. No. :)

It's possible! I asked one guy and he told me that there is easy method to do that! Just do this and next time you will be booting in Safe mode!

Start/Run/msconfig/BOOT.INI/ check safemode box,,,networking in safe mode options also available this way

I tested and it's working! Stupid me!

v0id, that is good information. And, remember the only stupid question is the one not asked. Good work, and thanks for the come back. Will remember this if it comes up again.
