    Thanks Kari, that worked!

This confused me a little.... "Open C:\Your_Username", Should be C:\Users\yourname\Virtual Machines

At any rate do you know if this a bug or something?

Also, what the best way to turn off Virtual Machine? I go to Action, Close, and it closes in Hibernated mode.

    Thanks

Fixed the typo, Sygnus. Thanks for telling.

I close all virtual machines from the Close Window button, the red X located in the top right corner.

How it then closes depends on your settings. You can choose a default closing option, or to be prompted about how to close.

I do not know why this issue happens sometimes. I do believe it has to do something with the vmcx-file, virtual machine description and registration settings.

Could be a good idea to copy vcmx file to another location and if this happens again, to compare if something has changed.

Thanks Kari, I actually had/have my VHD drive and files on a different HD. At any rate I'll copy the file and keep it in a safe place should I need it.

As for closing, I think I'll leave it as is, it doesn't seem to be hurting anything or taking up resources.

    Thanks for the help.

    Peace
