Bob, yes I've done the registry hack to get 24bit rez and logicearth, I have tried disabling Integration and have seen no difference.
I've heard from someone else that there is no chance I will be able to burn cd/dvds in XP Mode as well.
It will do most of what I need it to do and I'm not a fan of XP anyway and can get by with what I need.
Thanks for your replies.

I just wanted to add that I just bought the same board: Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P.

I ran into similar problems and finally figured out that the board's BIOS does not support virtualization (AMD-V) even as of release 9 even with Virtualization enabled. I ran into it with VirtualBox and then also confirmed it with XP Mode.

I've just written to them in the hopes of getting access to a beta BIOS that will fix the issue.

Hope this helps.

Seems though when you do this, it disables the ability to access other hardware (Hard drives) outside of the virtual drive in Win XP mode. The flagged missing drivers for "Virtual PC Integration Device" is not alleviated and if you have created separate desktops for multiple users in Win XP Mode those are no longer accessible. It's a Catch 22...
