XP will not open after installed?

I have A Dell 546 dual 64. Bios is ok for virtualization, Windows Virtual PC is running, Virtual Windows XP is running (if I have not turned my system off, then it says it is hibernating) and yet I can't get XP mode to open and use the XP desktop?
I have checked my status, I am the admin, my user name has full control, I have checked BIOS. I have everything functioning.
I did turn the system off and when i rebooted and tried the START menu and all programs and virtual windows xp it brought up a window saying I did not have permission to use the program? Go figure?

Help appreciated.

Seems like XP mode got corrupted for you (permissions fault)...I woulf reccomend you to uninstall XP Mode from Programs and Features in the Control Panel and reinstall it to see if everything works

Make sure to check off the show all updates option as well in case you installed the XP Mode ahead of the Windows Virtual PC. The Virtual PC has to go on first followed by a full system restart where you can install the final XP Mode and see that set up and run during the install process.

Hopefully your hardwares support virtualization as well and you used the compatibility tool for that. "How to confirm your PC can run Windows XP Mode" http://www.microsoft.com/windows/vir...gure-bios.aspx

Ok, I did a complete format of Drive C to remove anything that might be wrong and then did all the steps as described and finally it works perfectly.

IE 9 shipped with the unit & it worked fine. I use Firefox so removed the friendly blue e ages ago:devil: I do a small amount of B2G at the end of each financial quarter & the Aussie Tax people are not big on support for other than IE, so I'd run IE9 from the start menu Run - fine. A few days...

Unable to open Win7 normally with Photoshop Essentials 11 installed
I have been using PSE 7 for a few years. I just bought PSE 11. The PSE 11 instruction sheet said it is OK to have two versions installed at the same time. I installed PSE 11. I restarted the computer and Win7 wouldn't open. I tried a couple of times and then opened Win7 in Safe Mode. I...

I was stumbling on firefox when all of a sudden my computer shut down. Upon reboot it would not allow me to run any .exe programs. It won't let me run them even if I click on them right at start up. I can open folders and start task manager, but other than that I can't do anything. Reboots take...

Installed SSD, WEI didn't budge and can't open in 'computer'.
I just installed a Kingston Hyperx 120gb and I am disappointed. I installed it with Paragon Migrate and all went well. I went into the bios and changed the boot order and assigned it a drive letter with Macrium Reflect. I ran the WEI and it is the same as before..5.9. All I migrated was the os,...
