    Installing Google Chrome OS in VMWare


    Hi everybody!
    Ive got google chrome os provided by CHIP magazine, in the dvd. I want to try it in vmware. Can anybody please suggest me what should be th vm settings?

    Never heard about such an os before. So need help :) :)

    Hi there
    use one of the "Linux" type settings and go for the default mem size etc etc.


    Vmware will then install the guest OS directly from the DVD.

    BUT ---

    Are you sure however that it's the actual OS and not just the Google Chrome Browser as I didn't think the OS was ready yet for PC's.

    These people have had some sort of working version for a while - but I'm a bit suspicious of having to create an account first.

    Hi Jimbo!

    So it would be linux.
    I browsed through the dvd and it is an isofile there. So it seems to be a os. Let me try... I will inform if it work or otherwise.
