    launch virtualized app from windows 7 desktop


    I have an application that runs inside a virtual copy of XP. How can I add a shortcut to the windows 7 desktop that automatically launches the xp application ?

    From another thread I responded to:

    Ok I think I understand better now. In fact, I happened to find something that might work for you, if you can handle a bit of registry editing: C# Snippets: Creating Shortcut to Application Inside Windows XP Mode

    Note: Always backup important data before performing a registry edit.
