XP Mode additions to Windows 7

I don't even know how to title this thread...

Looking at the device manager for my Windows 7 installation, I found an entry I've never seen before. In the Storage Controllers, this showed up: A2KFXNRX IDE Controller. Would it be safe to assume that this has something to do with XP Mode? XP Mode is the logical choice for me as I know that a USB Virtualization Connection Driver was installed for use in XP Mode.

Googling and Bing(ing?) revealed no results.

I've come to the conclusion that this is related to XP Mode as I have disabled IDE in my BIOS. And, I am not experiencing any negative performance issues.

This question is not related to the topic but rather to my curiosity: does 5770 and 5750 crossfirex scale well together?

    Update:
I'm not sure yet, but this may not be due to XP Mode, but rather the virtual DVD drive installed via Daemon Tools Lite.

Will post back later when and if I find out for sure.

I have XP Mode installed and don't have anything like that (A2KFXNRX IDE Controller). I even checked for hidden devices.

    Solved for sure!

I had Computer open showing my drives and opened Device Manager. I disabled the IDE controller and the virtual drive disappeared in Computer. So, the controller is, without a doubt, installed by Daemon Tools Lite for the virtual DVD drive.
