xp mode?

    xp mode?


    i try installed xp mode on windown 7 on my laptop but..i can"t...message: my hardware components not suported virtual machine...no hardware assistent..help??

    this for dual boot

    and if you want running with virtual machine
    Windows Virtual PC - Create Virtual Machine

    your laptop doesn't have a virtualization capable CPU probably.

    You can download VirtualBox, and then install the VMLite plugin to run XP Mode in it.

    Doesn't matter if you don't have a virtualization capable CPU since MS provided the patch Kb977206 to install on those laptop/desktop non VT Processor.

    So you can install XP Mode + Virtual PC + the MS Patch (Kb977206)!!:)

    I did install it myself and it works fine on a 4GB ram!!

    Beware, it does takes at least 512mb Ram to run so if you're 2048 ram you'll get in trouble running very slow.....
