Windows XP Mode

I have so far found this facility to be a tremendous add-on but I want to ask anyone who knows. Can I safely use Windows 7 while XP Mode is launched but minimized?

I hesitate in case there is any crossover I don't know about that might impact on one or the other's registry.

Manhunter is absolutely correct. You can safely use both OSes simultaneously.

That's not fair, I'm all of 6 months younger than you so I want one too!

A wink goes further the older you get, a smile lingers long after it is gone, and both together will warm the heart for a whole day.

My words, Mitch, not a quote, and heartfelt.

Best wishes,

Ed

Windows crashed. Now can't boot, even in repair mode or safe mode.
Let me open by saying I'm too old to understand most of the jargon and directions found in a technical forum like this. I've been trying to fix this myself for about two weeks, and have made so many changes, I've probably made a complete hash of it. The latest thing I did was to attempt a...
