    Windows seven and Vmware Workstation


    i have compaq cq61-303sv with 3 GB RAM,2.2 C2D processor and 320 HD,having Windows 7 ultimate .i try to install vmware workstation 7,6.5,5.5.all version are installed well and their services are displayed in 'services' and i create virtual machine and start it .when i restart my physiacl computer and at 'login' window it displays blue screen dumping memory and computer automatically restart.this problem is not solved it is repeated every time.so i select the last good known configuration and login to windows.but all services of vmware are vanished from 'services' except Virtual Disk.and vmware does not work.this is the problem with all version of vmware workstation.

    YOu should check if your PC supports hardware virtualization

    Follow steps 1 and 2 from the microsoft site

    win 7 and vmware


    i reinstall the windows 7 ultimate and disable the MS driver signing and install the vmware 6.5 workstation .now vmware is working and services are not disappearing

    vmware workstation 7 works good for me in my win7 ultimate however i had isseus with it in Win7 rc
