Also in the 16 bit mode screen and window refresh are very slow. Also when in 16 bit mode your internet application will refresh very slowly from page to page. So ensure you turn off the interrogation before going to full mode.

Another problem: When you turn off interrogation you will loose all of your devices such as HDDs and other interrogation devices that may be using USB to commuinicate with your computer. However, these can be turned on through the USB Tool on the Tool Bar at the top of the Screen.

Before running XP for the first Time go to setup, and under Network change from NAT to Bridged (that why you can setup sharing folders through the Network), also it helps keep your internet from shut down (trust me on this one).

Hope this will help - Lee

Mine will display all wallpapers except "Bliss" which I like best. Any way to get it to display?

Also, I'm not sure if this is a bug or MS intended it, but my XP shows my whole hard drive as available space, but it can't, because 7 RC and my programs take half the drive.

I have Windows 7 set to true color bit 32 but, I don't see the option to switch xp mode to 32 bit. Someone posted that it's on the tools menu but, I don't see the option. Can someone please provide further instructions? Thanks.

Is Windows XP Mode responsive and stable? I only have a 1GB RAM so I fear it is going to be horribly laggy. And do you guys know whether RAM from other hardware makers is compatible with a Macbook? Thanks.

Nevermind my question. I figured it out but, it doesn't stay 32bit in full screen. Is this happening to anyone else?

Obviously a virtualised OS isnt as fast as an actual OS but its stable. You really need 2gb for XPM.

As far as I know only 16-bit colour mode is supported in virtualisation.

Virtual PC Beta in Windows 7, Unresponsive
Hi there, I'm using the new Virtual PC Beta with Windows 7 RC1. Although everything works, one thing I am finding is that it is extremely unresponsive, I was wondering if this was a common problem or whether there was an immediate fix? Basically what happens is the CPU erratically jumps...
