How do I allocate more ram to XP mode?

How do I allocate more ram to XP the default is 256 & remains Grey showing the XP is hibernated (when closed) or it say its running so how do I shut down XP mode completely so I can allocate more memory?

The start button gives 2 option log off & disconnect
I press disconnect the next screen I see shut down option greyed out, until I shut down I don't think I can change the ram allocation setting.

If it isn't made clear by Shawn, you need to ensure that the Close option is set as shown below, and that the status of the virtual machine is also as shown.
    Well I figured out
Even after I changed that I figured out that I needed to press the X sign to shut down only then it works.

    Hope ir helps others.

Simply follow the instructions in my additional post at the end of the Tutorial and set the options as shown. Once the Machine status is shown as Powered down, you will find that the settings options that were previously unavailable are now available.
