    Hello Labougie...

Below is the link for the latest BIOS udpate for your laptop's motherboard.

It is dated 03/31/2009 , so it's really fresh . I suggest you download and install this BIOS update and then check again in your BIOS to see if you can find anything related to HYPER-V.

Hey I hear you man I looked all over in my bios and I could not find any mention of hyper or amd v. It seemed like I was not able to see all that is available in the bios? Is there a password for more access or what?

    Hello Labougie...

Updating your BIOS is not that dangerous, you just need to keep the computer powered while the update takes place. It takes from 1 to 3 minutes max to complete...It's not that hard.

If you follow the downloaded file instructions you won't have a problem. Most bios updates work from within windows nowadays.

A bios update can solve a few problems and add new features. I would recommend it since needed.

    limneos,

what do you think about the acer digital license ( for windows ), i've read that this licence makes my windows register automatically, so, if i update my bios with the version you give me, is the microsoft license will be automatically recognise.

It's also the reason why, i'm not ready yet to update it. There is always the solution to phone to crosoft to register, but it's to long to dial all the numbers on the phone, it's really easy when the computer do this thing alone .
