    you might need to unnistall....
    can you unnistall the update
and reinstall the VPC beta and XPM and restart?
if not you might need to change some values...

    Thanks darkassin

Does your system meet the required specifications? What file system is your HD using? How much free space?

Seeing as it is Windows 7, I'd assume NTFS....

    That might be applicable....

    What Acer laptop?
Have you contacted Acer technical support and / or their forums to see if there is a BIOS update allowing access to change settings for enabling Virtualization?
What hardware is on the laptop?

These are basic questions we need answered before we can even begin to guess how to help....

I have an Acer Aspire 5735z-T3200 with
an Intel dual core T3200 which is supporting Intel VT
but there is no Option in the BIOS to activate this feature.

    Yes ...
I have spoken to Acer and they told me that this
option is hidden in the BIOS because of there
marketing concept and they will not release a
BIOS with the feature enabled. .
