Cant see Windows Virtual Pc

    Cant see Windows Virtual Pc


    How come even though im running windows 7 pro I cant see windows virtual Pc in the all program start menu ?


    please help do

    I need to download it ? enable it ?

    Windows Virtual PC is a separate download that Pro users can get free from Microsoft's website, on this page.

    Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (XP, 98SE, 95, 3.11, DOS 7.10 on VM) + Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Lucid Lynx

    You need to download XP Mode, Virtual PC and XP Mode Update and install
    Download Windows XP Mode

    Select the OS and Language first, then you will see the downloads

    Just to clarify Gladson's post above, the XP Mode update is not needed if your computer supports hardware assisted virtualization.

    Your specs say ult. for your OS. but you need to tell us the rest of you specs so we can tell you if your pc is vt compatible

    You don't need HAV (Hardware Assisted Virtualization) to run XP Mode.
    Windows XP Mode continues to use hardware virtualization such as Intel Virtualization Technology (Intel® VT) or the AMD-V™ chipset when available but it no longer requires them.
