    boot from VHD doesn't work on my windows 7 version


    Hi guys, good morning every one, recently I've reading one article of Keith Combs that said that Windows 7 boot from VHD, does any one has test this? because on my version ( build 7600 ) doesn't work because when Selecting the partition where the VHD it's mounted windows 7 says me that can't install there because it's a virtual disk, what I must do, I susspect that I'm using a beta but my build it

    Hello Leal, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    It depends on what edition of Windows 7 you have. Only the Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise editions support booting from a VHD.

    Hi, thank you, actually i reach that option that says that says "windows can't install on this disk" but I don't remember see the next button activated, I will try, thanks for the links. :)
