It's probably a good thing, as I don't have PowerISO installed either, and I am not sure how the install would go over RDP....
thats fine by me... just whenever you get the chance, leave a msg

Hey John.... i found a little quirk with this. If you have previously logged on locally, and not logged off prior to the RDP session, thats the only way for PowerISO to then work. Its just the initilization of it at startup thru RDP that is the problem.

nice find - that indicates something about how PowerISO is interacting with the system.

I forgot when I posted earlier that I can still RDP to my laptop through the local network, but attempting to upgrade the laptop to the RC is proving to be most ... troublesome.

I'll have another go at it tomorrow - I might RDP in and install PowerISO and see what happens....from laptop to desktop via router.....

Try this:

In Group Policy Editor
1. go to Computer Configuration
2. Administrative
3. Templates
4. System
5. Remote Storage Access
6. All Removable Storage:
Allow direct access in remote sessions... set this to ENABLED.
