[solved]want to delete Hotfixes and Updates Leftovers

Can Hotfixes and update leftovers be deleted like Windows XP? in which folder they are saved now in windows 7? i want to check how much space is staking and if its worth the gain. I have a recently created full backup and image system just in case something goes wrong so that may not be a problem.

If you want delete downloaded updates just empty C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder.Opposite to XP you cannot clear hotfixes list or delete unused backups (the only exceptions will be service packs like in Vista -I think so)

In this folder are only downloaded updates as I said in my first post .Update leftovers are stored in somewhere in C:\Windows\WinSxS and no way to remove them

What i really meant was update backups and files that are not necessary anymore like the ones in Windows XP, the one to Uninstall them. I downloaded a clean app and cleaned
C:\Windows\Software Distribution\Download but the space that those files were taking was only 11 MB and it was really strange for me because if i remember correct, in XP they took like 200 MB or more.

I'm not surprised,I suggest check size of system protection
