    Activated, but "Windows not Genuine" still in the background


    ok, so I solved the activation problem
    and i can change my background.

    and the control pannel tells me that my OS is genuine,
    but the logo
    "Windows 7
    Build 7600
    This copy of windows is not genuine"

    doesn't go away...
    any suggestions?

friends this is frankly a Vista question but in Googling the problem it appears possible that both 7 and Vista suffer from the malady.
