    Unable to update KB2079403 due to error 800B0100

    Help!! My system is Windows 7 64bit Enterprise edtion
    I've tried the System Update Readiness Tool
    rename the SoftwareDistribution folder
    manually download and install KB2079403
    Windows Fix It, reset Windows Update
    Disable Windows Firewall and Avira AntiVir
    Neither of these worked...
    What else could solve my problem

    If it was only problem with firewall,3p security soft, readiness tool return in this case empty log without errors -always.In this case only can help him replacing corrupted files or make repair install.

    @impreza

    I attached to post files to replace, download them and unpack anywhere

    1.Navigate to C:\Windows\Servicing\Packages,takeownership of this folder and add your account to have full control
    2.Copy my files to this folder -if you have already any file then replace it.
    3.Remove your account from permissions to Packages folder
    4.Restore ownership of Packages folder back to "NT Service\TrustedInstaller"
    5.Try again WU,if you will have still the same problem the empty C:\Windows\logs\CBS folder and run readiness tool again

    Useful links (please read them):Take Ownership of file
    TrustedInstaller - Restore as Owner
    Folder Permissions
