    AFAIK, KB 911895 is a general purpose nickname for all driver updates that are pushed through windows updates.

    I would suggest you download drivers from the manufacturer's website as and when you need them.

    @Brianzon

    There is such kind of information in KB913405 The screen saver does not start after you install a wireless pointing device

    nstall the update that is displayed as Optional Hardware Update and has the following title:Microsoft HID Non-User Input Data Filter
    Or, install the latest IntelliPoint or IntelliType software. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:Download Software (Download Software)
    Try install this one http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...7.10.344.0.exe

    in my opinion KB911895 from WU and IntelliType from Microsoft Download center are equivalent or IntelliType contain HID Non-User Input Data Filter +something else.If you will install this one standalone http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...7.10.344.0.exe then HID Non-User-Input Data filter should disapear from optional updates.
