    Windows 7 Error 800B0100

Hey guys I have been getting this error for 5 important updates for the last week. I've tried almost everything I could google and nothing seemed to work... Could anyone tell me what specific files I may need to download or what may be corrupt so I can download these updates? I would also need help on how to give you the correct system information for you to aid me as well. Any help would be much appreciated!

Disable firewall and try again -if it doesn't resolve please run Readiness Tool Description of the System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Vista, for Windows Server 2008, for Windows 7, and for Windows Server 2008 R2,this tool will genarete CheckSur.log file in C:\Windows\Logs\CBS folder -attache this file to post.

    Hey Flavius,

Sorry I should have been more clear about the steps that I have done. I actually followed all those steps that I believe you posted in an earlier thread and they still haven't helped. It looked like you provided files to someone with a similar problem before. Do I need to send you certain system information so you could send me the appropriate files?

Yes I could but first I must know what what damages you have. Each log is completely different - I must have CheckSur.log file from your computer.

So when I try and download the tool it gets to the installation and appears to be stuck on this stage..

"Installing Hotfix for Windows (KB947821) (update 1 of 1)... "

This happened as I tried to download this before and it did not seem to continue. Is this process slower than most or is something corrupt in the installation?

Sometimes installation may take some few minutes. If it's realy stuck try uninstall all 3p security software and try again.

I'm attaching to post files to replace here--> Attachment 95882,becaue you seem have some problem with Readiness Tool on allive system so I recommend to do that from WinRE level

    METHOD I
1.Download attached to post Packs.zip file -in zip file is packed Packs folder -you have to unpack it and place directly on C: exactly as I show below:

Click this bar to view the full image.Click this bar to view the full image.
2.Boot your Windows install disk (if you don't have Windows 7 install disk instead use special recovery disk)
    Choose language>>Repair Computer>>WinRE>>command prompt

    and type:

    robocopy C:\Packs C:\ /E /IS

    press ENTER

    del C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\*.*

    press ENTER

next back to your system and install problematic update from Microsoft Download center Microsoft Download Center (not from Windows Update)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    WARNING!

If my commands return error please let me know, errors occur when partition where is installed OS is not the first partition on hdd.For these cases you have to change drive letter in my commands -check partitons status in diskmgmt.msc
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I won't be here for 7 hours...
