+1 and creating a restore point is easy and quick.

Restore points work much, much better than in the Vista days, in my opinion.

I think we probably all have, Carl, which is why we can testify...

Same with the tweaking. Beta testers watched tweaks become redundant as Win7 became the Black Viper.

Have you moved Program Files directory ?What exactly you did with system?
If you don't want to use System Restore only fix your own error describe more details...
