    A little off of topic, but are you able to do single webcams in this version of MSN, due to the previous update which only enabled video call..

    Flavius, Lomai;

    Thanks for your time in trying to help me with this.

    I've run into additional problems; windows explorer started hanging on occasion and WEI was not be able to complete an assessment - it would stop and shut down. At that point I figured things were deteriorating quickly and I'd best regroup.

    I'm guessing that I had a conflict within my sytem with my GPU (ATI 4850) and its driver, but I've been messing with this so much it could be something else that I did that's causing the additional issues. The only things I've added to my system recently are IE9 and Essentials 11, soooo

    - I restored my system from a cloned internal HD.
    - Uninstalled IE9 and went back to IE8
    - Uninstalled Essentials 11 and reinstalled Essentials 2009

    Now everything is working flawlessly. At this point I'll wait for the final release of IE9 and perhaps SP1 -or maybe a driver update from ATI and then try again.

    Thanks again

    IR Hardcore,

    I'm not sure what you're referring to. At any rate, I don't use a webcam or MSN for that matter. Suspect you're on the wrong thread?
