The volume Shadow Copy is set to Manual and those links were no longer posted. So I'm trying the Windows 7 Disk right now to hopefully get a successful repair of something.

I encountered some issues with System Restore using the W7 DVD, got a different message though "Instructions at 0x73b68f18 references memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program"

I also checked the OS for repairs and it came back clean, nothing was found corrupt. ODD.
But i've spent to much time troubleshooting and the user needs the computer back asap. So it looks like I'll have to reformat and start over.

maybe it is issue with RAM?I suggest test RAM by using memtest.RAM - Test with Memtest86+
