Update shows in history, but not in installed updates

Ok, so recently, i installed an optional update through Windows update on to my Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit system. When i logged on, i noticed that my netgear wireless internet card was no longer working at all. I tried to uninstall the update since it seemed to be working before it was added. however even though it shows up in the "update history" tab, it does not show up in the "installed updates" tab.

    the exact update name:
-Broadcom driver update for Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter

anyone know how i can get rid of it/downgrade it to the previous working version?

Yeah, that is because it is a driver. Go to Device Manager > under Network Adaptors you will find your Broadcom > double click on it and go to the Driver tab. There you can roll- back.

thanks, the rollback worked! should have realized it was a driver and not an actual update /facepalm
