Windows Messenger/Plus!/Firefox troubles

I'm not exactly sure if this is the right place to post this, tell me if it isn't.

I was MSNing earlier today and I noticed I can't click on links. I thought my friends may have a higher version of MSN than me. So I went and downloaded Windows 2011, but when I got it, I realized I didn't like it at all. I wanted the old version, so I downloaded MSN 9.
It didn't work, so resigned and unhappy, I wnet back to MSN. I noticed I didn't have sounds or anything. So I tried to redownload Windows Plus! I got some other things when I did, excluding sounds.
Frustrated, i went to Firefox to find somethign else, but I saw that I had a Messengr Plus toolbar I tried to disable the add-ons, but when I restrted Firefox, I saw that there was just a blank space there, and when I right-clicked it, I could saw waht you would see if you right-clicked while the toolbar was there.
So I was pretty ticked-off, and decided to come here xP
