There is a workaround to change between versions in Win7 to then activate with the Pro key you're buying if you're already set up with Ultimate.

The other great deal out there right now is Home Premium Family 3-pack for $129 at Amazon and NewEgg - which is less than the $50 price beta testers were offered.
