Your update history shows a success, and the standalone thinks it has been installed. I think this is all that really needs to be said. If you are not happy, tell me, and I will check the logs files (not WindowsUpdate.log!)
No apologies needed Richard, even the good Lord needed a break.

With all the trust we put into these machines if it says the update was successful I'm happy, but it doesn't hurt to be sure.

I checked my Registry Key against what was listed on that KB article, and the settings were different, but I'm not going to worry about it.:

My Registry value:
%SystemRoot%\system32\csrss.exe ObjectDirectory=\Windows

SharedSection=1024,20480,768 Windows=On SubSystemType=Windows

ServerDll=basesrv,1 ServerDll=winsrv:UserServerDllInitialization,3

ServerDll=winsrv:ConServerDllInitialization,2 ServerDll=sxssrv,4

ProfileControl=Off MaxRequestThreads=16

MS Supports value:
%SystemRoot%\system32\csrss.exe ObjectDirectory=\Windows

SharedSection=1024,3072 Windows=On SubSystemType=Windows ServerDll=basesrv,1

ServerDll=winsrv:UserServerDllInitialization,3

ServerDll=winsrv:ConServerDllInitialization,2 ProfileControl=Off

I hope I have managed to contribute something, even in my lateness!

Richard
Here is the file when you get a chance, and yes you have contributed greatly as I will be reading those links you provided on the inner workings of the Windows OS.

Thanks Richard,

Steve

This is where I found the file C:\Windows\Logs\CBS, but it wasn't CBS.log, just CBS

Hello!

Thanks for your understanding Your registry key looks good. A 20gb page file! Not an issue though, at all. CBS looks good to me. I think that update is installed. I couldn't find the error though. That was strange. It seems to be installed though, so I think we can basically call this solved now.

Ask me anything you like, any questions

Hi! mdart, welcome to 7F

If you really want to stop The pop-up try this:
Open your elevated CMD prompt.
Type sc stop wuauserv
Hit enter.

To reverse type sc start wuauserv

But be warned! If you do this you will have to remember to do the restarts or else windows will not update again.

If you want to get a better response to your query you need to post a new thread here in the "Windows Updates & Activation" forum.

And be sure to post the .CBS log's from the three machines that you are having the problem with. :

copy C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log to your Desktop, right click on it > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder, and upload that zip file.
Even though we had the same problem, the solution will be particular to your situation.

I would suggest that you could even copy the post you made here into your new thread, and explain that you are posting the three machines logs, i.e. CBS.zip1, CBS.zip2, CBS.zip3

You may use this thread as a reference, this is the link to here:

Hi Anak thanks for the response by the time I got back to run your command the problem had been fixed, so between running the other fixes posted and being patient the problem is resolved on one machine. Now I just need to replicate this on the others
Thanks

Your welcome. If you could only know what resolved your error on that one machine...sigh...Have you tried looking in your event logs?

As for replicating the error there is a way at this link:
You may receive an "Error code 80080005 -- server execution failed." error message when you start many COM+ applications
Scroll down a bit to "More Information".
