i didn't know, i assumed that there were some Windows 8 Compadibility bits mixed in with the SP1.

    idk i don't trust this SP1 build.

No, there is absolutely no Win8 bits in it, it contains mostly bug fixes and security patches for Win7 :)

yeah, i KNOW that it dosent have Win8 bits,

but i felt like there could be.

like someone accidently replaced some file with the win8 version,

try to tell me it's not possible, becasue it completely is.

If you downloaded it from the right place then it's highly highly unlikely that it's corrupt.

If you're worried then just uninstall it and wait from MS to release it officially. You'll see the same option from the official build too.

Edit: I downloaded SP1 from the right place and my compatibility mode shows the same, so there's nothing wrong with it

do you have an official link to PM me/ post?

i'm making a Windows 7 Image, and i want the OFFICAL version straight from microsoft for security and updatability reasons.

i thought it would OFFICIALLY be out like a week ago,

there taking there time on this.

do you have any idea on when it will be officially be released?
