    Windows 7 Sp1 RTM error 0x8007000d


    Hi. I'm trying to install SP1 RTM on my 7 Ultimate 64 bit but I got the error message 0x8007000d. What could it be?

    Where did you get the RTM? I know everybody has jumped on the recent leaks, but they are leaks nonetheless. There has not been an *official* release, so my bet is you did not get the file from Microsoft. So, while I agree with Bagavan, I would also check your source and maybe cross-check with another version.

    Myself, I am waiting for the official release. From what I am reading, there is nothing revolutionary in SP1, so why hurry?

    That's right. Infact my last choice is waiting for official release via Windows Update.
