    SP1 installation priority.

Upon checking updates, there are times when updates are checked and one or two are not unchecked. These are not the optional updates I'm referring to but "Important and Recommended updates. I usually install the checked updates, first. I then go back and install the unchecked updates.

When I brought up Windows Update a day or so after the SP1 release,
I noticed two recommended updates were checked.......KB2387530 and KB2484033.
    SP1 KB976932 was not checked.

So naturally I installed the checked updates, first and then SP1.

Checking and unchecking certain boxes may be a way of the OS telling us to install
Recommended updates before the Important updates.

    Your thoughts, please!

When an important update is not checked is because if it's installed along with the other updates, it may lead to an error of some sort.

Those unchecked important updates should be installed one at a time, or at least not with the other updates altogether :)

That's my opinion, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong

    What is KB2387530?

I don't have it and it has not been offered.

2488113 and 2484033 were offered to me after SP 1 and I have them.

    p5bdkw: As an aside:

I see you have an i5-2600.

Can you tell me your graphics/gaming graphics WEI with that particular Sapphire card and possibly with the integrated graphics----although on second thought I don't think you can use integrated graphics on a P chipset?

Yep, you can't use the integrated intel HD graphics 2000 with a P67 motherboard, only with H67 and the upcoming Z68
